Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-tier fintech payments sales team within a rapidly growing division of a global payments organization. The role focuses on acquiring financial institution (FI) clients, with an emphasis on CFD and forex providers. It is ideal for sales professionals with expertise in global payments, cash management, foreign exchange, and treasury solutions, as well as strong connections in the FI and non-bank financial institution (NBFI) sectors.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify potential FI/NBFI clients, particularly in the CFD sector, and analyze the competitive landscape. Stay informed on industry trends impacting the target market.
  • Strategic Planning: Create targeted strategies to engage the CFD market, understanding client needs and aligning solutions to meet them. Partner with marketing and product teams to ensure sales strategies support broader business goals.
  • Lead Generation: Build a pipeline of prospects through networking, cold outreach, and digital campaigns.
  • Client Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demos to showcase the value of our solutions to prospective clients.
  • Deal Negotiation: Negotiate terms with prospects, addressing concerns and tailoring proposals to secure agreements. Support clients through the onboarding process for a seamless experience.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals through effective pipeline management and strategic execution.
  • CRM Management: Keep detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in the company’s CRM system, providing regular reports.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and other teams to deliver a unified client experience. Mentor junior team members to support their growth.
  • Compliance: Stay up to date on regulatory requirements through ongoing training to ensure full compliance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in CFD sales, preferably in the payments or FX industry
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business and consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets
  • Expertise in consultative selling, with the ability to identify client needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Skilled in managing complex sales cycles from lead generation to deal closure
  • Strong negotiation skills, focused on delivering mutual value for clients and the company
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align sales initiatives with organizational objectives
  • Proficient in financial modeling, sales analytics, CRM platforms, and sales enablement tools
  • Team-oriented with a competitive spirit, strong work ethic, and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to perform effectively under pressure
