Role Overview
We’re looking for a Head of Dealing to lead our trading desk and drive the continued evolution of our execution and pricing capabilities. You’ll take ownership of all aspects of dealing, including liquidity management, risk oversight, and high-value client execution. A key part of this role will be managing and developing a high-performing team of dealers and support staff, ensuring excellence in delivery, compliance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow the dealing team to support business expansion
- Oversee day-to-day FX execution, real-time pricing, and risk management
- Manage relationships with liquidity providers and institutional counterparties
- Ensure best execution practices and regulatory compliance (FCA etc.)
- Collaborate with sales and client teams to deliver tailored trading solutions
- Work with product and tech teams to improve trading infrastructure and tools
- Monitor market conditions and provide strategic insights to leadership
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a senior FX dealing or trading role, ideally in fintech or banking
- Proven team leadership and people management experience
- Strong understanding of FX, mass payments, and alternative banking products
- Experience in liquidity management and institutional execution
- In-depth knowledge of compliance, risk, and regulatory frameworks
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and client management skills
