Role Overview
Lead and expand the inbound sales function for a top-tier fintech payments provider. Reporting to the Sales Director, you’ll manage and optimize inbound sales inquiries from online and referral channels, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to drive high-performance responses and client onboarding.
Responsibilities:
Management
- Set measurable targets and KPIs, ensuring tools, training, and processes support performance.
- Provide clear expectations and regular feedback via 1:1s and reviews.
- Drive results through workload distribution, hiring, and issue resolution.
- Foster engagement, reward performance, and promote a thriving work environment.
- Support team members’ career growth.
Inbound Sales Leadership
- Manage the inbound sales funnel for high-quality lead engagement and conversion.
- Lead and develop the team for performance and accountability.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director on KPIs and metrics.
Marketing and Partnerships Alignment
- Partner with Marketing to ensure high-quality leads align with target personas.
- Optimize lead generation campaigns and landing pages.
- Support seamless referral handovers with the Partnerships team.
Client Onboarding Support
- Oversee client onboarding for timely, accurate processes.
- Guide clients through initial transactions, collaborating with internal teams.
- Act as an escalation point for complex onboarding cases.
Sales Enablement & Process Optimization
- Refine qualification processes to boost speed-to-lead and conversions.
- Enhance CRM practices, pipeline hygiene, and automation.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Compliance, and Product to streamline the buyer journey.
Team Development & Collaboration
- Coach team members via 1:1s, call coaching, and reviews.
- Develop training and onboarding resources.
- Foster a transparent, growth-oriented team culture.
Requirements
- Extensive B2B sales experience with team leadership in fintech, financial services, or payments.
- Proven success managing high-velocity inbound sales teams and hitting revenue targets.
- Expertise in lead qualification and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Experience in client interactions and regulated financial onboarding.
- Analytical, data-driven approach to optimize performance.
- Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, customer-focused, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
