Job Description
This is an exceptional opportunity to be a key member of a high-performing fintech payments sales team, focusing on the acquisition of SME and MME high-value corporate and financial institution clients. The role is ideal for experienced payment sales professionals with expertise in global payments, cash management, FX, API connectivity, and treasury solutions. The successful candidate will have strong business acumen and high-level corporate connections.

Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research to identify potential markets and understand the competitive landscape. Stay updated on industry trends affecting the business.
  • Strategy Development: Design strategic plans to target key markets and demographics effectively. Work with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with broader objectives.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new clients through networking, cold calling, and digital outreach.
  • Sales Presentations and Demos: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Negotiation and Closure: Address client concerns, adapt proposals to meet their needs, and successfully close deals. Support new client onboarding to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Target Management: Meet and exceed sales quotas by implementing effective sales strategies and maintaining a proactive sales pipeline.
  • CRM Management & Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using HubSpot or similar platforms. Use data analysis to track performance and refine strategies.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with marketing and customer support teams for cohesive client management. Mentor junior team members to develop their skills.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations and complete training to ensure compliance.

Competencies & Experience

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the payments or FX sector.
  • Track record of developing new business and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of currency markets, hedging solutions, and international payments.
  • Expertise in consultative sales, identifying customer needs, and offering tailored solutions.
  • Skilled in managing complex sales cycles from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Experienced in negotiating contracts that create value for clients and the company.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align sales strategies with broader business goals.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis to support product value propositions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competence in financial and sales analytics tools.
